GOLDEN APPLE STUDIO in conjunction with WINOVATIONS. Inc. is in the final construction phase of establishing an Artist Residency on fifty acres along the Atlantic coast of northern Maine, approximately an hour and a half north of Bar Harbor. Situated along the rocky coastal landscape less than two hundred feet from shore, the residency will accommodate four artists at a time for three-week residencies during the summer and early fall months. Accommodations include private sleeping cottages on the wooded grounds, individual studios in a separate building, and communal evening dining at the main house which includes a pub for late-night conversation. Workshops will be conducted throughout the summer. With the help of the Alliance of Artist Communities of which I am a member, we will be working toward establishing a unique experience in artist residency.
